The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and its predecessor agencies have been working since 1947 to plan for a better, brighter Atlanta region. Over the years, ARC’s work portfolio has evolved and now includes regional transportation planning, aging services, community development, water resources management, workforce development, and homeland security.

ARC is charged with considering issues from a regional perspective and working with its community partners to plan the investments and programs needed to improve quality of life for all residents.

Assembly Community Improvement District
Commercial property owners have agreed to form a CID to serve as a tool to facilitate infrastructure improvements connected to the redevelopment of the former Doraville General Motors assembly plant and the surrounding area.
